Should my unit run continuously in the summer/winter?

If you have 2 stage equipment it may run long cycles when it is hot or cold out. If you have single stage equipment, it should cycle off after 30 or 40 minutes and come back on 15 to 20 minutes later.

Having a AC unit go out in AZ is not fun when its hot. A friend suggested I call AC by Jay and a technician arrived within a few hours. He told me what was wrong and gave me an estimate, then he went to work. My AC has worked great ever since. My tech was courteous and polite and told me exactly what was wrong.
